The Family Crest: Love Don’t Go
Songs for Soldiers: Sunday, November 30
This is Travis. He was deployed to Iraq just two weeks after his daughter’s birth. While I am blissfully unaware of what that must feel like, I do recognize the tremendous sacrifice he and countless others have made in service to our country.
Because of this, on Sunday, November 30, any family member of a deployed service person who wants to come record a Christmas carol (or Chanukah or whatever it is you celebrate) to send to their loved one is free to come do so here at Yellow Couch. We’d like to allow as many folks as possible to take advantage of this, so I’m asking that songs be limited to acoustic guitar or pre-recorded track and vocals. I’m happy to play guitar for you if that would be helpful.
So if you and/or you child(ren) want to come record a song to lift the spirits of those who are far away and surely missing you over the holidays, please just call to reserve your space on the schedule. 412.728.2916.
